What did you do this past week?

I met up with my project partner this week! He’s actually a really cool/nice guy. He knows a lot about C++ and has taught me a lot of cool programming and visual studio code tricks. We’ve gotten a lot done without much difficulty.

What’s in your way?

Like always, I’m in my own way. More specifically, how much I don’t know.

What will you do next week?

I am going to work on the project more with my partner. Hopefully we can get things wrapped up soon so that we have a break from doing projects closer to the deadline.

If you read it, what did you think of the Dependency Inversion Principle?

I haven’t read it yet, but that is the next thing on my to-do list!

What was your experience of vector, copy constructor, and copy assignment? (this question will vary, week to week)

This was probably the most confusing week for me, my quiz grades probably reflected that. I feel like a lot of people learned a great deal from the group work, but because I was so confused the entire time, I felt like I fell behind from the rest. However, I know there’s nothing studying can’t fix!

What made you happy this week?

I visit my family every weekend so that means I usually lug around a lot of stuff, one of which is my pug pup (Bean). Unfortunately, I had a nightmare last night and started crying. My sister came downstairs and invited me to sleep in her bed with Bean. She made me feel a lot better and we ended up laughing and talking for a few hours :)

What’s your pick-of-the-week or tip-of-the-week?

My tip of the week is to make sure to work on your project every day, or at least close to every day. There are some times when I would work on it 6/7 days a week and would still cut it close to the deadline. So just make sure that you stay on top of things!
