What did you do this past week?

I worked on the Allocator with Luca. We worked really well together and got things done in a timely manner. We did run into some issues, but everything was sorted out in the end. Other than that, I attended lectures like usual, and put out a request for a project partner!

What’s in your way?

I don’t feel like much is in my way this week. I feel like I have plenty of time to get the things that need to be done, done. I am pretty excited to start this week off strong!

What will you do next week?

I really want to get cracking on project 4. I am hoping to work on it at least for a little bit each day. If I can’t find a partner soon I may just go ahead and start instead of having a partner. However, I would much prefer to have a partner since I feel that paired programming has helped me out a lot.

If you read it, what did you think of the Interface Segregation Principle?

I haven’t read it yet, but that is the next thing on my to-do list.

What was your experience of initializations, and vector? (this question will vary, week to week)

Since the past few projects used a lot of vectors, I feel like I had a pretty basic understanding of them to begin with, which helped A LOT with understanding this week’s material.

What made you happy this week?

This week was overall a very relaxing week. I got my first robot vacuum and it actually turned out to work really well. I’m very happy with it.

What’s your pick-of-the-week or tip-of-the-week?

Make sure to work on the project every day at least for a little bit. It really helps and makes things significantly less stressful the closer you get to the deadline. Even working every day, it was still close, so I can’t imagine having started any later than I did.
